Ominuvo terms of service

Effective from 30 October 2026.

1. General

These terms set out the rules for using Ominuvo, available at ominuvo.com (the “Service”), including the rules for providing services electronically.
The Service is provided by Komba Maciej Włodarczak, Bławatkowa 11, 62-080 Tarnowo Podgórne, Polen, VAT ID PL7772882191, REGON 300831750 (the “Provider”). Contact: contact@ominuvo.com or the contact form.
User – anyone using the Service. Account – a registered User account. Map – an interactive map, iceberg chart or other work created in the Service. User Content – Maps, data, descriptions, links and other content entered by a User.
How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Without an Account, free of charge: browsing the map catalogue, user maps and the Ominuvo map series, downloading map data (CSV), map quizzes, embedding published maps on other websites, and the contact form.
With an Account: creating and editing Maps, importing data, publishing Maps in the catalogue or at their own address, exporting and embedding – within the scope and limits of the plan described on the pricing page.
The map generator and registration are being rolled out gradually. Until they launch, some features are marked “coming soon” and are not available.

To use the Service you need a device with internet access and an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled. To use an Account you also need cookies enabled and an email address.
Using the internet involves common risks (such as malware or a stolen password). Do not share your password and use one you do not use anywhere else.

The agreement for an Account is concluded on registration, for an indefinite period. An Account on the free plan is free of charge.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an Account; younger users need the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Users provide a real email address and do not share their Account with others.
Users may terminate the agreement at any time by deleting their Account in the Account panel. The Account and all Maps are deleted immediately.
The Provider may terminate the agreement for good reason – in particular a breach of these terms – with 14 days’ notice sent by email, or with immediate effect in the case of a serious breach (unlawful content, spam, attacks on the Service).

The author is responsible for User Content. Only publish data you have the right to publish, and credit its source.
It is forbidden to publish content that is unlawful, offensive, incites hatred or violence, is misleading, infringes the rights of others (such as copyright), contains other people’s personal data (such as home addresses), or is advertising or spam.
By publishing a Map, the User grants the Provider a free, non-exclusive licence to store, display and distribute it within the Service (including in the catalogue, in sharing images and in embeds on other websites) to the extent needed to run the Service, for as long as the Map is published. Unpublished Maps (drafts) are visible only to their author.
Anyone can report content they consider unlawful – through the contact form or at contact@ominuvo.com – giving the Map’s address and an explanation of why the content is unlawful. We handle reports without undue delay and inform the reporting person of our decision.
The Provider may hide or remove Maps that break these terms or the law. We inform the author by email of the decision and the reasons for it. The decision can be appealed through the complaints procedure (section 8).

The free plan is free of charge. The Pro plan is a paid subscription billed monthly (6 $) or yearly (60 $). Plan limits, features and current prices are listed on the pricing page. Tax (VAT or other sales tax) is added at checkout according to the buyer’s country.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it takes the payment, issues the receipt or invoice, handles taxes and processes refunds. Purchases are also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.
The Pro plan becomes active on the Account it was bought from as soon as Paddle confirms the payment.
The subscription renews automatically for the next period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in your Account panel or at paddle.net, effective at the end of the paid period; until then the Pro plan keeps working and no further payment is taken.
If a renewal payment cannot be collected, Paddle retries it and notifies you by email. If the payment fails, the subscription ends and the Account returns to the free plan.
We announce price changes by email at least 30 days in advance; the new price applies from the next period, and anyone who does not accept it can cancel the subscription.
Refunds and consumers’ right of withdrawal are set out in the refund policy: within 14 days of the first payment we refund the full amount, no reason needed.
When the Pro plan ends, Maps are not deleted; the free plan limits apply again.

We aim to keep the Service running without interruption, but technical breaks are possible – announced in advance where we can.
We keep backups; even so, we recommend downloading the data of important Maps (CSV).
The Provider is not liable for User Content if it is not aware of its unlawful nature and, once it receives credible notice of it, promptly disables access to it.
Maps in the catalogue, including the Ominuvo map series, are for information; we take care that the data is reliable but do not guarantee it is complete.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability towards consumers where the law does not allow it.

Complaints about the Service (including appeals against a decision to hide or remove a Map) can be submitted through the contact form or to contact@ominuvo.com. Please describe the problem and, if it concerns an Account, give the Account’s email address.
We reply by email within 14 days of receiving the complaint.

The Service’s code, design and texts belong to the Provider and are protected by law. Country borders come from Natural Earth (public domain). Terms for using data from the Ominuvo map series are given on their own websites.
Users may download and embed the data of published Maps in the ways the Service provides; rights to User Content remain with its authors.

These terms may change for good reason, such as changes in the law, new features or the launch of payments.
We announce changes on this page and notify Account holders by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Anyone who does not accept the changes can delete their Account.

These terms are governed by Polish law. This does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution, such as consumer ombudsmen or consumer arbitration bodies in their country.
These terms are available free of charge on this page and can be saved and printed.
